Ode to the sea. Western Cape, South Africa, 2013 - 2015.
Both an environmental and cultural comment on modern day consumerism, this project took over two years to complete. It features a selection of objects that were washed up on the local coastal shoreline after spring tides and severe storms. Objects were collected from a number of beaches and seafronts throughout the Western Cape region of South Africa.
